The sayings of Jesus will always have a greater impact on us the longer we study them. They take a lifetime to understand and apply. This is why Adult Education at Eden Church is so passionate about our task! The groups provide opportunities to connect, discover, and grow together. We offer a wide range of sessions from being men of faith to parenting to prayer, or Bible verses while sharing a meal together. Sunday morning and evening, and weekday and evening groups are available. Please contact the church office for more information and a listing of current classes.

Adult Sunday School Class - Am I Really a Christian?

Too many Christians love Jesus but still wonder anxiously if they’re “good enough”, if they are really saved or if they can lose their salvation. Eden’s Adult Sunday School Class will begin studying the Right Now Media study Am I Really a Christian? – The Truth about Eternal Security on Sunday, September 20th. We will tackle these fears head-on, exploring what the Bible says about our eternal security because our Heavenly Father loves us too much to let us live in doubt about His unconditional love for us. We meet Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:30 in Classroom 1302/1303. Please join us for this valuable study.

Wednesday Morning Men’s Bible Study

The Men meet on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall and others join remotely by Zoom. Breakfast is provided each week. The men are studying a book on the basics of the Christian faith called “Crossing to Christ”. You may join this study at any time. To receive the Zoom meeting information or to receive a copy of the book, please contact Pastor Roberts at pastor@edenchurch-edw.org.

The Book of Revelation: The Book of Colossians

The Wednesday Night Bible Study class is studying the Book of Colossians using Warren Wiersbe’s study guide BE Complete – Become the whole person God intends you to be. We live in an age when everyone is trying to live richer, fuller lives. We’re told to buy this, try that, eat those, and say no to the rest, as if that’s all we need to do to make our lives complete. Two thousand years ago, the church at Colossae faced similar challenges. The apostle Paul wrote a letter outlining the only way we can live complete lives: Christ! Join us and find out what we can learn from this ancient church. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in Classrooms 1302/1303. Contact Linda Romann (Mobile: 618-560-9532 / Email: lromann@sbcglobal.net) for more information about our study.

Wednesday Bible Study 2

The Wednesday Evening Bible Study 2 is studying “Respectable Sins” by Jerry Bridges. This is a popular study at Eden exploring sins that have been minimized over time. If you have not participated or it has been awhile, reach out to Denise Engelke at 618-973-0780 for more details. This Bible Study meet online using the Zoom app.

Friday Women’s Bible Study - The Book of Genesis
