Hello everyone,   
 
Even in the middle of a heat wave, the Overnight Warming Locations are preparing for another year of life-saving ministry to the unhoused community. The OWLs will open whenever the overnight forecast calls for temperatures of 20 degrees or lower.  
 
We are currently preparing for volunteer training in October, and we will be ready to open in November.  
 
Would your church like to hear a presentation about the OWLs, to help us get the word out & recruit more volunteers and donors? We have speakers who could present to a small or large group, to answer questions about the many skills and resources that are needed in this enormous shared effort.  
 
Please reply to me or Lindsey Apple (lapple@newsong-fellowship.com) if you would like to arrange for a presentation, OR feel free to forward this to any group leaders in your congregation who may wish to pursue this opportunity.
